Interfaith Partnership: The schools that our children attend are a snapshot of a community whose diversity is ever growing and changing in wonderful and exciting ways but these changes also bring about questions and challenges. A small group of Protestant youth workers have been networking for two years with the Center for Service-Learning and Social Change to help provide opportunities for youth build understanding, bridges and partnerships with people of other religions. With the Center’s leadership we are connecting with the Islamic Center in St. Cloud in hopes of providing opportunities for young people to come together in learning and community. As we grow in our understanding of religions outside of our own belief systems we are pushed to more deeply understand our own faith.
